The Washington Institute for Dental Research at the University of Maryland has been helping people understand how dental health is related to eating and eating habits.

Dr. Michael E. Ragan is dean of the school and has been working with dentists on a project called the “Dentist in the Community,” which was launched in 2007.

He has developed a curriculum for teachers that addresses the connection between eating and dental health.
